DETAILED ITINERARY

Arrive at Cairo International Airport in the afternoon and drive to Alexandria. Check into the hotel upon arrival and unwind.
Spend the evening at your leisure.

Today, we aim to visit the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, an intriguing complex of tombs with Egyptian, Roman, and Greek influences. Along with this, there are numerous more attractions in Alexandria to visit, such as Pompey's Pillar, the Citadel of Quiatbay, the Bibliotheca (Library) Alexandrina, and so on. So, after checking out of the hotel, we will explore the monuments of Alexandria, which range from the 2nd century CE to the 16th century CE.
We'll arrive in Cairo by evening and relax in our hotel.

We will be exploring Cairo for the next two days.
We will leave after a filling breakfast for the Great Pyramid of Giza. We will also see massive Sphinx statues there. In addition, we want to visit the Egyptian Museum and enjoy a Light and Sound show at the Pyramids in the evening.
We will return to the hotel in the late evening and relax.

Today we go to Saqqara to see another pyramid, this time a stepped pyramid. We will also tour Coptic Cairo, as well as a Hanging Church, Abu Serga, and St. George Church. These are historical monuments dating back to the sixth century. The monuments that represent Christianity in Egypt
In the evening, we fly to Aswan.

It's time to explore something new. So, after breakfast, we will visit yet another famous temple that was totally lifted and conserved on the island of Philae. Following our tour to this temple, we board a Nile cruise and begin our adventure down this civilization's mother river.

On the way to Luxor, we will stop at several points of interest, including the temple of Abu Simbel, two gigantic rock-cut temples dating from the 13th century BCE, and Kom Ombo, a beautifully built double temple dating from the 2nd century BCE.
We'll return to the cruise in the evening to take in the stunning Nile vistas.

Yet another day on cruise, and we shall proceed further with the sightseeing at Edfu, where we visit another ancient temple from the 3rd century BCE and sail through the Esna, a lock and dam system on the Nile.
A lovely evening will be spent on the cruise, enjoying the cruise experience.

Today we arrive at Luxor and check out of the ship. After disembarking the ship, we travel to Luxor to explore the Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon. We will also visit Luxor and Karnak Temples. Some truly ancient monuments.
We'll check into the hotel by evening and unwind.

It's time to wrap things up and bring the mysterious civilization's wonderful journey to a close. We will board the early morning flight from Luxor to Cairo.
The day will be spent at El Khalili Bazaar for an exclusive shopping experience. And finally, we will catch an evening flight home.
Arrive home with a mesmerizing experience to cherish for a lifetime.

FEW POINTERS

  • Visa for Egypt will be acquired by Ancient Trails with an e-visa facility. For the same, guest needs to provide passport and photos according to the norms
  • An original passport with validity of minimum six months from the date of arrival in the country and have sufficient blank pages for stamping the Visa or immigration pass
  • If any sightseeing mentioned is not done due to any unforeseen circumstances then an alternate sightseeing will be done
  • A traveller may please note that for domestic and international flights, the baggage allowance will be as per respective airline’s baggage policy and weight regulations. Travelers are requested to carry their luggage in accordance with the regulated baggage allowance. Excess baggage will be chargeable and the same is not included in the tour cost. It has to be borne by the traveller
  • There could be some complementary activities covered from our side at certain destinations. If any activity is not opted by traveller then the same is not entitled to a cash refund
  • A guest needs to possess the double vaccination certificate to travel
