DETAILED ITINERARY
Begin the journey to explore land of Kokan. Board the bus early morning from Pune and reach Ratnagiri by lunch time. Check into the hotel, have lunch and relax for a while. In the later half of the day, we will visit Thiba palace. Stay at Ratnagiri.
Highlights
- Visit Thiba Palace – This palace was built by british for King Thiba of Myanmar. A beautiful architecture now houses a museum is a must-visit place when around Ratnagiri.
After having a full breakfast, begin the further expedition of Kokan. By evening we will reach Kunkeshwar. Enroute, we will visit Ganeshgule, Sun temple of Kasheli, Rameshwar Temple Girye and some more unexplored sites. Stay at Kunkeshwar
Highlights
- Visit Ganeshgule – Ganeshgule is famous for its Ganesh temple and an ancient stepwell. A picturesque site of Ganeshgule is truly an enchanting place to visit.
- Visit Sun Temple, Kasheli – Its a small village famous for a marvellous wooden temple that is dedicated to Sun god and a beautiful beach. This serene place will leave you spellbound for sure.
- Visit Rameshwar Temple, Girye – Another temple hidden in the dense valley of Kokan is Rameshwar Temple of Girye.
Get ready and visit Kunkeshwar temple. Understand the history of temple and take a stroll on the scenic beach of Kunkeshwar. Later leave for Malvan. Enroute visit Rameshwar Temple of Achra and Vagheshwar temple of Tondavali along with the tranquil beach of Tondavali. Reach Malvan by evening. Stay at Malvan.

- Visit Kunkeshwar – This place is famous for the temple of Kunkeshwar and long and clean beach. Kunkeshwar bears a long history that is equally interesting to know.
After breakfast, get ready to visit some petroglyphs lying on the rockbed of Kokan lands. Return Malvan by noon and spend evening at leisure on the beaches of Malvan. Stay at Malvan.

- Visit Petroglyphs –Petroglyphas are rock art that is created by early humans by carving flat rock surface. Creation of such large scale rock art is a mystery. Now a days scholars are getting more and more of such petroglyphs in Kokan region.
Its time to end our wonderful trail. Have a full breakfast and leave for Pune. Arrive home by evening with uncountable moments to cherish.
