NrusinhWadi or locally known as Narsobachi Wadi is the famous pilgrimage situated on the sacred confluence of the two rivers, Krishna and Panchaganga near the town of Sangli in Maharashtra. A place that has been blessed by Shri Nrusinhaswami Saraswati, a highly revered guru in the Dattatreya tradition whose life is described in the famous text of this tradition - Gurucharitra.
In Gurucharitra, the name of this place is mentioned as Amarpura. Shri Nrusinha Saraswati while travelling visited this place and stayed here for 12 years due to the earnest request by devotees. Here Datta Paduka established by Swami are worshipped by people with complete devotion.
Staying in the tranquil surroundings of the temple and gaining the true consciousness of yourself is an experience to take.
Just 18 km away from Wadi, an ancient temple is hidden in the remote villages, named Kopeshwar temple of Khidrapur. A temple was constructed by Shilahara king Gandaraditya in the 12th century. A temple that exhibits some of the unique iconography and architecture.
