Overview

Bihar...!!
It’s a land of Mahavira & Buddha ! It’s a land of Mauryas ! It’s a land of Nalanda !
It’s a land, where India witnessed the golden age of Indian History !
It’s a land of prosperity and rich heritage.
Today, Bihar may seem to be a somewhat backward state in terms of literacy, economy, and per capita income of the existing population. However, thousands of years ago, the entire politics of India was concentrated towards Bihar which was then known as the Empire of Magadha.
Magadha was considered as the centre of power, education, and culture. This is the place where the largest empire of India had arisen, the Maurya Empire. Chandragupta Maurya acquired Magadha and formed a Mauryan Empire. That was Chandragupta Maurya who expanded the territories of Magadha to acquire most of today’s India. His descendant Emperor Ashoka expanded them further to acquire large parts of South Asia and he became the monarch of first-ever unified India as we see it today. That’s not the only history Bihar would be proud of. Bihar is a land where Gautam Buddha was born somewhat 2500 years ago. At Gaya, Gautam Buddha attained enlightenment and he spread the word of Dharma (Buddhist religion) across the state. And he spent his last days at Kushinagar.
Since the 3rd century CE up to 6th century CE, the Gupta dynasty ruled over the mighty Magadha Kingdom. Gupta kings brought a wave in cultural transition in true sense. India was never prospered like before and after. And the most amazing part is, ‘centre of this prosperity was Magadha’.
So, here we are...offering a unique opportunity to acknowledge the splendid heritage of Bihar...Join us now...
